A YourTourKey project TURSAB Licence 16978 Last updated: 2026

Before you book

Aussies On Boat is a YourTourKey project operated by Aquaventure Tourism under Andriake Tourism Trade and Limited Company. By placing a booking, paying a deposit, paying a balance, or joining one of our gulet cruises or private charters, you confirm that you have read, understood and accepted these Terms & Conditions on behalf of yourself and your travelling party.

Quick note

We keep the vibe easygoing, but safety, vessel rules, payment terms and cancellation policies still matter. Please read the sections below carefully before confirming your booking.

01

General Terms

Who we are

Aussies On Boat is a travel brand and project connected to YourTourKey, operated by Aquaventure Tourism under Andriake Tourism Trade and Limited Company, a registered member of the Turkish Travel Agencies Association with TURSAB licence number 16978.

Throughout these terms, “Aussies On Boat”, “YourTourKey”, “we”, “us” and “our” refer to the operating travel agency and its authorised representatives.

Definitions used in these terms

The term “vessel” refers to any boat, gulet, yacht or ship used as part of a booking. The term “product” refers to any gulet cruise, cabin charter, private charter, experience, transfer or travel service arranged by us. The term “client” refers to the person making the booking and all members of their travelling party.

Group leader responsibility

The person named on the booking is considered the group leader. The group leader accepts these terms on behalf of all passengers listed, substituted or added to the booking and is responsible for ensuring that all members of the party understand and follow these conditions.

Our role as agent

Some services may be provided by local vessel owners, captains, hotels, transport companies, activity providers or other third-party suppliers. In these cases, Aussies On Boat and YourTourKey act as an agent or intermediary for the relevant provider while still helping coordinate the client experience.

02

Bookings & Payments

Booking confirmation

A booking is confirmed only once the required deposit or full payment has been received and confirmation has been issued by us. Deposit amounts may vary depending on the vessel, route, date, booking type and product selected.

It is the client’s responsibility to check that all booking confirmations, tickets, itineraries and relevant details have been received and reviewed.

Private gulet and yacht charters

Private charter bookings may require a deposit between 30% and 60% of the total charter cost. In some cases, full payment may be required. The exact payment terms will be confirmed during the booking process or by written communication.

Some private charters require pre-payment of the balance before arrival, while others may allow balance payment upon arrival. Payment deadlines and accepted payment methods will be communicated before confirmation.

Cabin cruises

Cabin cruise bookings are confirmed once the required deposit has been received. In some cases, full payment may be required. Balance payments are usually made during check-in unless otherwise stated in the booking confirmation.

For arrival payments, we may accept EUR, USD, GBP, AUD or TRY. Currency conversions may be based on the current exchange rate, and we are not responsible for additional bank fees or currency exchange charges applied by financial institutions.

Prices and changes

Prices shown on our website, brochures or promotional materials are accurate at the time of publication but may vary due to availability, seasonal changes, taxes, fuel costs, exchange rates, supplier changes or other external factors.

Once a booking is confirmed, the agreed price will not be affected by future price changes unless the booking terms specifically state otherwise or unforeseen circumstances require a change.

03

Cancellations

Private charter cancellations by clients

Clients may cancel a private charter by providing written notice. Cancellation becomes effective once the written request has been received by us.

  • More than one year before departure: full refund.
  • Between one year and 180 days before departure: 70% refund of the charter package.
  • Between 179 and 90 days before departure: 50% refund of the charter package.
  • Less than 89 days before departure: no refund.

No refund is provided for partially used services or products.

Cabin cruise cancellations by clients

Cabin cruise cancellations take effect once we receive a written cancellation request from the client or agent.

  • 45 days or more before departure: refund less 30% of the total product cost.
  • 21 to 45 days before departure: refund less 50% of the total product cost.
  • 20 days or less before departure: no refund.
No-show policy

If a client does not arrive for a booked product, arrives after departure, misses check-in, or leaves the product before completion, no refund will be issued.

Force majeure and cancellations by us

We reserve the right to cancel or modify a booking due to force majeure or events beyond our control, including but not limited to adverse weather, natural disasters, civil unrest, fire, strikes, transport disruptions, safety issues or other extraordinary circumstances.

Where possible, we will offer an alternative product, vessel, date, route or solution. Refund eligibility will depend on the booking type, supplier terms and circumstances of the cancellation.

Open date transfers

For selected cabin cruises, clients may be able to transfer their booking to an open date if notice is given at least 21 days before departure. New dates are subject to availability and current pricing. This option may not apply to all routes, vessels or products.

04

Vessels, Routes & Itineraries

Captain’s authority

The captain has full authority over the vessel, route and safety of passengers and crew. Passengers must follow all safety instructions and vessel rules. The captain may alter the route, change swim stops, delay departure, return to port or terminate the product early if required for safety, weather, behaviour, medical or operational reasons.

Route, port or vessel changes

We may change a vessel, route, port, itinerary or schedule due to weather, port regulations, technical issues, supplier changes or other unforeseen circumstances. If a vessel change is required, we will aim to provide an equal or higher standard vessel where possible.

Vessel breakdowns

If a vessel experiences an engine failure or technical breakdown, we reserve the right to repair the vessel or arrange a replacement within 48 hours. Refunds are not automatically provided for delays or changes caused by vessel breakdowns.

Cabin allocation and vessel capacity

Cabin types and layouts may vary between vessels. Specific cabin requests are subject to availability and may change due to operational needs. Each vessel has a maximum passenger capacity, and clients must provide accurate passenger numbers at the time of booking.

Exclusions and onboard costs

Unless specifically stated in the itinerary or booking confirmation, extra drinks, bar bills, personal expenses, tips, optional activities, transfers, entrance fees, internet access, medical expenses and other personal items are not included.

05

Client Responsibilities

Behaviour and safety

Clients must respect the authority of our staff, captains, crew, suppliers and representatives. If a client’s behaviour, health condition or actions create risk, discomfort or disruption for others, we reserve the right to exclude the client from all or part of the product without refund or compensation.

Local laws

Clients are expected to comply with Turkish laws and regulations throughout the experience. We are not responsible for clients who engage in illegal or unlawful actions.

Free time

Some products may include free time for clients to relax, explore or spend time independently. We are not responsible for accidents, injury, loss or damage that may occur during free time or activities arranged independently by the client.

Damage to vessel or equipment

For private charters and other vessel-based products, the group leader is responsible for ensuring that the vessel, equipment and inventory are treated with care. Any damage caused by clients may need to be compensated directly to the captain, vessel operator or relevant supplier.

06

Insurance, Health & Travel Documents

Travel documentation

Clients are responsible for obtaining all required travel documents, including valid passports, visas, vaccination documents, medical certificates or any other entry requirements for Turkey or any relevant destination.

Travel and health insurance

Clients are strongly advised to obtain comprehensive travel and health insurance covering illness, accidents, cancellations, theft, baggage loss or damage, repatriation and other travel-related risks.

We are not responsible for costs arising from the client’s failure to obtain adequate insurance.

Health and fitness

Clients must ensure they are physically fit for the selected product. Any medical conditions, allergies, mobility issues, dietary requirements or health concerns that may affect the experience must be disclosed before booking.

Adventure and optional activities

Optional activities such as paragliding, diving, water sports or other adventure activities may be provided by third-party operators. Clients participate at their own risk and are subject to the terms and safety rules of the relevant activity provider.

07

Photography, Media & Personal Data

Photography and video

Our representatives, crew or media team may take photographs or video recordings during products. Clients who do not wish to be photographed or recorded should inform the captain, crew or our team before or during the experience.

Unless instructed otherwise, we may use photos, videos, feedback, comments or testimonials for promotional and marketing purposes.

Personal data

Client data is handled in accordance with applicable Turkish data protection laws. By making a booking, clients consent to the use of necessary personal data for booking management, operational communication, travel arrangements, marketing, market research and service improvement.

Clients who wish to opt out of marketing use may contact us by email.

08

Complaints

During the experience

If a problem occurs during a gulet cruise, cabin charter or private charter, clients should first raise the issue with the captain or crew. If the issue cannot be resolved onboard, clients should contact the Aussies On Boat or YourTourKey office as soon as possible.

After the experience

If a complaint cannot be resolved during the product, a written complaint with supporting evidence must be submitted within 30 days of the product’s completion. Complaints submitted after 31 days may not be acknowledged.

09
